Question Clio II headlight beam

Hi, i'm wondering if anyone can help. The headlight beam on the drivers side of my car is too high and when i went to lower it the kind of black box with the screw on top of wasn't connected to anything. It was just sitting in the headlight. Is this easy to fix? Do I need to take the whole headlight out to fix it?
If anyone can let me know that'd be great.

Theres a chance the adjuster has snapped off inside, Can you see if its just came adrift or snapped?
