First the rear offside door failed to unlock on my 2002 Clio Expression. This was repaired but sounds laboured when using the key remotely. Now the other rear side door doesn't unlock and neither does the boot and I cannot unlock the boot from the inside or outside manually. Any ideas?

Re: locks

Is the new lock still working or have they all stopped?
you can open the boot by dropping the rear seat backs then right at the bottom of the boot door in the middle is a bit of plastic it as a very small slot in it that by putting a flat bladed screw driver through and moving it up or down "cant remember which" you can open the door but it then stays unlocked, you will need a torch.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?

If you find a fix for your problem please let us know it will help others.

Re: locks

Thanks for the info. The new lock works ok now,but sounds very laboured when you press the key. It's only the other rear passenger door & the boot now, both failed a few months after the other door was fixed.
