Unhappy coolant warning light problem

hi i'm new so excuse the details

my 05 clio 1.2 wont turn over or do anything, the coolant warning light (engine symbol with stop sign inside) is flashing and the stop sign is on and imobilizer light stays on. it hadn't been used in a few days but its always been a perfect starter with no problems or lights.

the only thing that happened the last time I used it was the oil symbol flashed indicating low and the service light came on but I put oil straight in and those lights have not came back on. I would be soo grateful for any ideas as to what is wrong

Re: Coolant Temperature Sensor location on MKII (2000) Clio

Hi , I am having an issue trying to find the fan sensor on my 1.4 16v 2001 clio alize ...a/c model .
Can anyone of you renault wizards point me to it (with a photo if possible ?!) I thought I had it but in hindsight I may have been unplugging an a/c sensor! and many other things too in my quest to solve the fan not kicking in and the engine overheating in traffice. The fan does actually work as when I unlugged the a/c sensor , it kicked in for a few happy moments!

many thanks
