Haynes manuals have wiring diagrams in the back, i dont have min handy but im sure they will have one with the layout of a radio as its quite common for people to change them.

Smile Re: chopped stereo loom help!!!!

hi, I've the same problem kind of, i've just brought a reno clio (97 P plate) & have the same cut wiring, only i'm good with the speaker wires, it's the power wires i'm unsure of, i have 4 wires, if you know which wire is which from the colours i'd love to know please,

the wires i have,
black/green, it's quite thick so i'm guessing this is the ground/negative??

any ideas??
as for the speaker wires, i just tested each 1 wire, i used an mp3 player with a cut earphone to phono lead, then just attched 1 end of the mp3 player lead to 1 of the speaker wires & went through the others till sound came out of 1 of the 4 spearkers, once i'd found the matching wire, i taped the 2 together, then moved onto another speaker wire, and just did it that way :-) hope this helps,
