Car has been in for major service. Front passenger disc replaced. Other brakes were OK, presumably. Since then I have smelled the same smell again but less frequently and very much less strongly, and the last few days not at all. If pressed I would say that when I have smelled it, it was coming from the rear of the car. Is everyone happy the problem has been solved, or should I take matters further?

give it a week and if smell is still gone then I would say it's sorted.
