Clio bonnet catch plastic retrainer

Just popped the bonnet open on my clio to give him some oil , and the pointed dome shaped plastic retainer thing holding the spring broke. The spring fired this across the road...

I have collected all parts, and put the spring over the hole that the metal bonnet catch goes into (so that when you pull the handle, it all still works). Bonnet is closed and secure and there is the safety catch.

I am not worried about driving it in the short term (or should I be? I don't think this is the same fault as Renault previously had. Mine is a 2002 Clio). Where can I get a replacement part? Don't want to go to Renault, as I would rather do it myself (if possible).

you could try a scrap dealer, but I would replace it asap for safety reasons

Yes in view of the recurring safety issues with Clio bonnet catch failure I would see to this A.S.A.P.
