Renault Clio - Wheels and Tyres - Tyre pressures 175/65/R14

Hi all,

Hopefully an easy question!

I'm replacing the existing 14inch steel wheels on my wife's Clio. The car currently sits on 175/65 R14 no-name tyres.

So I have just managed to get some very good condition Renault alloys from eBay . They are the standard 15inch Renault 5-spoke alloys that are fitted on the 2001 facelift models, and have decent Continental 185/55 R15s with plenty of tread.

Question is what is the correct tyre pressure for these? My handbook doesn't include any information for 185/55 R15s.

Cheers all,

As tyre manufactrers are constantly developing their tyre technology it would be best to contact a decent tyre supplier who may be able to give you some good advice.

set the fronts to 2.1 bar and the rears to 2.0 bar
will handle great on those wheels and tyres at that
