Ok Guys I'll try with the noise. Particularly as it's my son's first car and he's really down, as I won't let him drive it at the moment.
The noise is not there when the car first starts, or when it's idling.
When I pick up speed it comes in and sounds really deep and rumbly and it's pretty loud. If I didn't know better I'd say it was the exhaust at the front end, but I have had that checked.
One thing that always happens is that the noise disappears as soon as I turn the car, even the slightest amount, to the right and always comes back as I straighten up.
When I pull up the noise just stops.
It does still happen when I go over the speed bumps outside the house which are of the larger but smoother variety, a bit like riding a wave!
Does any of this help?
