Thumbs up dud mechanic

seems you may have struck a bad deal, i learnt some time ago, modern engines need modern mechanics, a dud mechanic may do what seems a cheap job, say 20 pounds per hour, but if it takes him 10 hours to do what a trained technician would do in say 2 hours, and with all the right gear, then the cheap job turns out to be expensive, and often as you have stated it ends up as custard, modern cars use electronics just about everywhere, and often get damaged by inexperienced mechanics. still looks like you are on the road again. put the past behind you, and hope it goes well. renaults do seem to be rather delicate cars,
