It would do no harm to have the cabin filter changed to the activated carbon type not only does it filter pollen and spores but also some of the unhealthy traffic fumes.
Thanks, I'll look into that. Is it something that any garage would be able to do, or would I have to take it to a Renault garage? (again, sorry if that's a stupid question!)
The marks on the under bonnet insulation will probably be permanent and are due to stains caused by seepage from the washer fluid which will have proably contained some anti-freeze solution. If left untouched it should remain harmless.
So I definitely shouldn't try to clean the mould/damp patches off?
