Many of the page views are from search engines, none of which would reply.
To be fair, electrics are a bit of a mystery to most (myself included), and there could be many reasons for the faults experienced.
No-one wants to suggest you replace everything just to ensure that the problem is fixed - although that is the method which is 100% effective, if not an efficient cash method.
I didn't see the thread, otherwise I'd have suggested a circuit tester or an auto-electrician rather than continuing the 'hit & hope' method that's been employed thus far.
This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
