If the discs are badly worn or corroded similar probloms can occur.
Lastly it is also possible the handbrake lever mechanism inside the claiper is seizing.

It may be something simple and getting it sorted now could save a lot of expense in the future.
Thanks mad, just recentley had new discs and bearings fitted on the back, Thanks for the advice
