Battery terminal fitting mystery

Hi all,

I recently removed a defunct battery off a friends 97 megane in the hope that a good battery off an older clio in my posession would start it. When I removed it I tried to get the screw fitting on the terminal off, but to no avail. The bits that grabbed on just snapped off (yeah, I was a bit heavy handed). Not to worry I thought, I have a suitable replacement on the clio battery but the fitting was too small as it was on the negative terminal instead of the required positive.

Basically just wondering if there is a special renault terminal bracket shop that will get the motor started without me changing the terminals & wiring for the "non screw top" type.

Many thanks in advance for any response
