Re: Renault - Clio - Mk 2 - Not running properly

Hi all,
Renault Clio been slowly getting worse over the last month until finally decided to remove and clean the throttle body as the diagnostic came back with a faulty throttle position sensor which after some research can relate to all sorts of things on these cars.

Basically ecu kept putting the car into limp home mode and kept getting that little coil light come up on the dash. Every now and again the toxic fume light (orange engine light LHS dash) would come on too. The usual stop start trick stopped working so have just completed the take apart and clean up of the throttle body . Now however no life at all.....please help...everything lights up but won't turn over and under the bonnet there is a electrical noise much like shorting going on, high pitch like an old fuel pump whirring or somthing...just about to back out to once again take it apart but hoped someone might be able to clear this issue up or point to a solution. It turned over once but no spark and not done it since.

Anyways fingers crossed I haven't just somehow made the issue worse but will see and check back here in a bit.
