Arghhh! Wheel speed sensor nightmare
My ABS light decided to come on last week, 1 month before my MOT is due... great.
I took it for a diagnostic yesterday, it confirmed that it was the drivers side wheel speed sensor. Not so bad... i have a mate in the car parts industary and picked one up for half the price the garage was wanting for it.
Today i took the wheel off to replace said sensor, only to find out that the "Clip" or "Housing" that the sensor sits in has completely eroded.
I don't know what to do, do i need a whole new hub or is there any easier way to fix this?
I'm now at the stage where im considering part exchanging the car and getting a newer, none french car...
can any one in the know help me out here? is this going to be a costly fix?
