Re: Clio mark 3 - brake discs worn before pads after 26000 miles?
Hi there and welcome.
This is very odd indeed. Traditionally, brake discs used to outlast pads by around 2:1, then pads were made from softer materials (removing asbestos), this increased to around 3:1.
Have the discs incurred normal wear & tear, or are they warped/gouged in some way?
It is recommended that brakes are replaced in pairs, so it may well be the case that one on the front axle is damaged, and so is one on the rear - but this should really have been explained by either establishment.
I would verify the reason behind replacement first, and update us. It may well be that you will need to contact
