What is the best way to offload a lemon ?

Been weighing up the pros and cons of keeping my Lag2 ST as I think I've bought a basket case thats probably gonna cost 1K + to put right....which I can't afford.

So, whilst the thing seems to be driveable, what would be the options to offload the thing, prefereably NOT onto some poor unsuspectings member of the public (like me) ?

Any ideas ?
