Will it fail the MOT.

Just a quick one from me. I have leaky sunroof seals which are causing me water in the foot wells of driver and passenger of car and under the seats etc.

As soon as it stops raining I will reseal the sunroof.

Until the rain stops I have gaffer tapped a plastic sheet over the sun roof and this has stopped the leak.

Silly question, I understand a leaky sunroof alone won't cause my car to fail its MOT but if I send the car in with the plastic sheet on will that cause it to fail?

Am I best to take it off whilst it's tested?
