Hello , I bought an RX4 with a knackered engine , went to tow it back home , on the way it made a wining noise from the back end, i took the diff and prop shaft off . the front center bearing was knack-ed , and so was the rear rubber doughnut . that wasn't the end either, the diff was chewed up completely . I've managed to get a second hand diff, and a new doughnut , but i am still trying to split the prop to get the center bearing off , some one told me to heat the prop up at the side of the center bearing to allow it to split , ( the opposite side of the bearing to the uj ) . can any one tell me if this is rite , or does anyone know any other way how to split the sections of the prop , Kev
