well one side is ready for reassembly but the original side for the cv boot is not. I have tried heating the arm till red hot to try and persuade the ball joint out to no avail.
The only option is to try and remove the arm which is well and truly siezed - the slide in pin is seized solid on the rear bush if you pry the box section at the back of the arm you can see the rear bush rotate but the front the pin rotates.

Does anyone have a bright idea for removing the pin with out cutting everything off?

If not i just carry on struggling on my monologue thread here

I have tried beating it off and it looks like someone else has aswell as the section at the end where the rod is bolted up is mushroomed from being hit.
I've soaked the bush in penetrating oil as best as i can if it doesn't free up in the next hour or so i'll have no choice but to cut it off.
