Good post Martin - glad you got it sorted.
Just for any other members who may read your post the Torx screws holding the discs aren't strictly necessary - the wheel bolts actually do all the work of retaining the discs and transferring energy from the road to the discs. When faced with a seized one I just usually drill it out screw in a largish self-tapping screw - once the wheel is on it ain''t going anywhere. Basically all the screws do is to keep the disc from moving when the road wheel is removed.
