If we knew how many miles per year you anticipate it may be easier to give an opinion and also how much you have spent on the car since you owned it including depreciation, finance, etc.
In my general opinion the Scenic comes to the end of it economic life around 150K or 8 years or so. After that they can become a money pit unless you can do most of your own repairs.
Go and value a similar model a year older - it may give you what the car may be worth in a years time. In other words if you spend X amount of £'s now what are you likely to get back in a years time. That'll give you a rough figure as to what it's gonna cost you in the near future.
It is always difficult to know when to stop throwing money at a car so you need to have a hard look at the prevous costs and anticipated future expenditure. Ignore the good clean condition aspect - the country is full of good clean condition cars that don't run.
