That's a seam where the bodyshell is welded.

What I would do, is run some masking tape from front to back, and spray with some black stoneguard paint -

This will take away the visual impact of the join, whilst also providing some protection to the underbody of the car.

It should be done on a dry car, and I'd allow 30 minutes between coats - or just spray one side, whilst the other dries.
