thanks for that Suzanna - this is slightly different in that it has only happened putting the car back on the drive (albeit after a short run).
I had the same stalling after starting as you have on my picasso - it was caused on that car by the fact the wiring loom was a single loom which all the electronics was coded and upon start up it took 20-30 seconds for all the computers ./ electronics etc to "boot up" hence in reverse it used to stall. No fault according to citroen just had to let it fire up fully.
For the record the car does only do short journeys during the week but at the weekend it tends to do around 150+ miles.
