'new' clock spring arrived. Haven't fitted it yet, but can confirm that from end-to-end, the spring has 4 full turns, so 2 turns from the end to centre it. Just to note, there is a hole (near the top of the rotation spring casing) which needs to line up with the hole below it for it to be dead-centre. I'll post a pic later when I get a chance.
