Strange one, we've been having trouble with it as I said, the car wouldn't start, put card in press brake, the brake then won't come back up and the start button doesn't work, on the 3 occasions they've been out to it the battery was showing as flat, on the forst 2 occasions they got the battery going and tested it and it was showing ok. I think as a last resort they decided to change the battery, then of course all hell broke loose and the instrument panel went mad. Could the problem have been with the ecu all the time do you think as something was draining the battery, we thought we had found the suspect(faulty switch in the console between the 2 front seats)but I'm not convinced. Anyway that's what the dealers have told us that the ecu wasn't connected properly, I should also mention that it has just had a new steering rack fitted and we didn't have this problem before, if you have any advice I would appreciate it as we have to pick it up tomorrow
