Re: Scenic II handbrake module

Hi Gonescenile,
Checked all pointers that you suggested. Footbrake works ok so piston therefore not seized. I removed pads and cleaned and greased them so they're not seized either. I have applied the handbrake and the lever at the caliper is moving a little which suggests the cable isn't snapped or seized. However I feel the lever isn't returning as it should as its not making the stop without leverage from a screwdriver. My only other query is this. Could the handbrake mechanism inside the caliper be failing? I've also said before if it was the module surely both sides would fail. Hope you can shed some more light on this. Thanks again.
