Megane problems. Stress.

I've owned a 54 Scenic II for about 8 weeks now.

Bought from a dealer garage locally for 2k.
This week I took it to a Renault garage to identify the cause of some problems.
They've quoted me around 1,800 in repairs for the following:
- ECU sensor
- broken regulator drivers side
- faulty heater resistor
- dephaser pulley (as well as new cam belt, etc)
- throttle clean and/or replace

To add to that, they've informed me the vehicle is an import - so Renault will not cover any costs for the known problems.

What are my options? Should I talk to the dealer I purchased from?
If I need these repairs, I would assume an independant garage could do a much better deal but would still be expensive :/
