Re: rear brake hub nuts on clio

First of all is the hand brake off?

Youve probli got a lip on the inside of the drum from wear thats catching the shoes and stopping you from removing it.

either spin the hub around and look in the holes for a small cog on the acuator that u can flick round with a small screwdriver and loosen the shoes that way.

or get a hub puller. very effective simple tool - look it up on youtube. failing that large screwdrives and a prying action. and possibly a crowbar and brute force.

o btw. re-torque them bad boys to 175nm. thats the renault spec.
