That sounds like metal on metal, the friction material may of worn away. Best advice I can give is the same for any brake problem, don't drive it get it sorted ASAP. Don't be surprised if you need new disks as well as pad's and the disks come with hubs and wheel bearings.
Don't risk it, get it looked at ASAP.
