Megane 1 - Load sensing valve

Hello, the megane has failed it's MOT on the classic dogdy rear light cluster earths, load sensing valve (oh and the Catalytic converter but that due to it getting slightly to much unburnt fuel after a coil pack failure).

Anyway I've sorted every thing apart from the load sensing valve, nothing seems seised, it was slightly still but I've lubbed it up. The odd part of it is that nothing seems to accutate the lever on the valve block, I can do it manuallly but in either highest or lowest load cases (ie lifting the car off the ground or having it standing on the ground although with no load in the boot).

Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Many Thanks
