Hi there,

He may have been, but I remember him saying that braking power is affected (despite the car passing the brake performance test...)

As far as I know, a rusty disc lip is not a fail here.

I'm going to look at it with the mechanic who is sorting out the car and fortunately I get a free retest with the original MOT tester. If he still complains then I will just have to go somewhere else
