Id go for a jack up wheel off pic
Have you examined the disc yourself/compared with the one on the other side?.
Ive heard of glazing ok where the pads get a polished surface and dont bite anymore.or the "holy fook" effect where someone washes their car at the garage then drives straight out without dabbing the brakes.
Then they hit the brakes and cos of the heavy water film ..extended braking distance.

Id be interested too to see what the "achtung baby"! fail looks like.

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
