Make sure you know if it's an Inclusive warranty (i.e. all parts listed are covered) or an Exclusive warranty (i.e. all the parts listed aren't covered).

Check also for claim limits (no. of claims / claim value and for consequential loss arising from a failed part).

You don't want to find the cambelt is covered, but any damage arising from it's failure (such as bent valves) isn't covered (for example).

Also consider the cost from alternative providers.
