Re: Renault Scenic II - Access the resistor pack in 5 mins.

I would like to know the answer to this too!

Just changed the resistor and installed the new loom. Given the lack of space I ended up part removing the facia, which involved removing the rest of the dashboard first. Quite an undertaking.

The advantage was that I could unplug the original resistor from the fan motor and plug in the replacement rather than try and join wires in a hole I can only get one hand through!

Anyway, I too have dislodged this wire from whence it came. Having put it all back together I no longer have the radio display (everything on the right hand side, speed, fuel, etc, is fine). The steering controls have also stopped working.

The connectors for the radio and the instrument cluster are all pushed home (I have double checked). Anyone got any ideas? Could this wee plug currently hanging loose behind the dash got anything to do with it?
