Re: Sanding brake discs

Hi coup

Maybe you should be called madcoup

It's hard to compare prices because the guy is doing several things to the car for a fixed price.

Cheapest discs and pads cost between 60 and 70 euro on ebay (total including postage). The guy told me if I wanted to get new discs and pads via Renault I am looking at paying a couple of hundred euros.

I suppose the skimming would be just as labour intensive as putting new discs and pads on.

So I suppose if I had just bought new discs and pads in the first place and told him to put them on, the difference in cost would have been 60 - 70 euros (i.e. the parts only).
