Seem to have cured problem.
Pumped brakes hard for a few minutes. Then sat for 30 sec with foot on brake hard.
Suspected either piston stick in brakes applied position or threaded adjusting nut and spring clutch inside caliper were stuck and normal everyday braking pressure wasn't enough to make the adjuster turn and the hard sustained pressure released it.
Hand brake lever now fully applies handbrake after 3-4 clicks.
Does anyone have an opinion on these theories and if there is any merit to them?
