Re: How do I remove bumper trim on Espace
all your remarks made me think it may just all be clipped together, so I went out with two screwdrivers and a spatula.
And it worked. I used the spatula to prize the trim forward and then put a screwdriver in the gap. Then the other one and started prizing the trim forward being careful to not damage the trim itself, leveraging behind the trim on the bumper. I found a brutal force was better than being careful... sharp tugs.
Tat done, I removed the cable from the first sensor by leveraging the tab, then connected the new sensor... It made no difference the warning message did not go away and the alarm did not sound. I did that with all four front sensors...
I am now rather angry with our garage who wanted to charge us £300 to replace what they said was a NSF faulty sensor. A cataloge of rather questionable diagnostics and faults by them.
OK. Now, how do I find the fault? What of the rear sensors?
