Re: Quick Spray on Wax

There was a thread about fallout and tarspots some time ago and very small tar spots aka fly poop ;0)

Me 2 full simoniz or ice hard wax py.

2 total detars py generally
1. wash car wi soap n water rinse
2.bucket of soap and water and a petrol soaked rag
remove tar spots with rag, not too dry or it will scratch then immediately wash the patch youve cleaned in "karate kid" wax on wax off fashion.
Need to be especially fast on any carbon effect vinyl,

3. Rinse whole car again and chamois/whatever.
Theres a lot of lime in tap water here so it would spot up like crazy if not chammied.

4.Hard wax on and polish
Wash and wax( I use simoniz, seems to keep the finish the rest of the time and take most of the tar spots right off.
Washing the car in light rain saves on rinsing /chamois :}

Alloys get 3 or 4 coats of hard wax when they are off for the tar spots have stuck to them.

Carbon fibre vinyl,you cant apply proper polish, but the wash n wax stuff keeps it shiny enough(so far).

I used the same methods on my last car n bodywark looked like new after 10 years, not surface scratched or anything that I could see.

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
