The operative phrase would be "could get it sprayed".

Im farly sure any attempt of mine would make it look diseased
A solid colour ,I might, maybe try.
Of course since you set me thinking on the vinyl.I could allways cut out the protector altogether and put on some clear vinyl/silver vinyl or wotever.

In terms of cost,buy the part.. n probably the same again to get it sprayed. guy has to buy paint,use his heater n all that doesnt matter how small the job is,Im guessing so no change out of 100.
edit: hehe I just thought..what if the protector paint got damaged thru to the black . Ill think on it,maybe even the dark vinyl If I make the strip width thin enough.

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
