What year is the car you are thinking about buying?

The 1.9 Dci engine is not without its problems - failing turbos mainly and if the fuel pump fails then you can look forward to a very large repair bill indeed (between 1500 to 3000). The downside is that neither of these failures always happen on high milebage engines. Personally If you don't do big mileage there is very little to gain by buying a diesel.

I live in a wet part of the UK and from what I can gather from the motor trade in my area is, it's not if the top is going to leak but only a matter of when but that's a risk with most cabriolet cars.
