Hi Thanks for an extremely detailed and helpful post, my son has a Megane and the same problem, his has auto lights and washers and cruise control so I guess his is the 7 wire spring as the cruise is controlled from the steering wheel. It looks like the radio control is completely separate and not involved. I was driving his car when this went so it looks like my fault, air bag light and service light and no cruise control, I believe these lights will now be an MOT failure, so I will have to do something soon.
