Dreaded bonnet catch caused roof damage
Hello guys, I had to join this forum to come ask your opinions, and any experience you may have of this.
A while back I suffered the bonnet catch failure, going 50mph. Windscreen smashed, bonnet stuck up with bent hinges and my roof has a couple of small dents just after the joint between the windscreen and roof.
I will post pictures up soon, but in general, does this make it a write off? I have been researching online, some say yes, some say no.
I'm looking to sell the car, but obviously can't sell it if its not even legally insurable.
Appreciate any answers.
