Re: Renault Laguna 2 - 1.9dCi No Turbo Boost/Limp Mode*FIXED*

OK, I think I have resolved this.

I have been reading up on MAP, as opposed to MAF sensors, and they do fail. I disconnected the MAP sensor and turned on the ignition, but did not start it. After a few seconds, the injection warning light does indeed come on. I cleaned the connectors and sprayed some electrical contact cleaner into the sensor itself, and let it dry out and reconnected it.

I started the engine and let it tick over for a while and the injection warning light flickered the way it does whenever it comes on.

I think that is too much of a coincidence. It can often be days between seeing the dreaded warning light.

So, I have ordered a new one and will advise.
