Hi Dave, it's got a relay switched electrically controlled pneumatic valve that my garage has advised me to leave unplugged to disable the system. But on inclines the engine runs like it is slightly over-advanced. From what I can see the timing is non-adjustable as it has a fixed sensor to the ignition control unit. I was wondering if I should leave the EGR valve alone or pull it out and see if the valve needs a clean (but I've never seen anyone talk about cleaning petrol EGR valve).
