Thanks for the replies guy's.... supose the only way to find out is to give the car a few tank fulls of some V-Power or equivalent .......
Selwonk - I'm sure the research carried out concluded that BHP gains were only had in higher powered cars, and the
's of bog standard 1.4/1.6's etc... were not programmed to adapt to higher octain fuels, however as you and obviously Renault suggest it appears the 1.4 16v should be.
