Re: biodiesel

Hey try it and be the guinea pig for us......

Seriously you must know by now how sensitive these flipping 1.5 DCI's are? I'd not touch it at all in ours. Though something to think about is there is a small amount of Veggie Oil added to diesel anyway these days or so I'm told by someone who works in the fuel business.

I have another vehicle with a big 2.7 lump in it and have run that on Veggie Oil Diesel mix and that ran perfectly and quieter. Trouble is it made me feel hungry when I smelt the exhaust Didn't use Veggie Oil in winter though but others with the same engine run it all year round going up to 90% or more in summer. Personally for the price of new cooking oil I don't think it's worth it anymore.

Never used "Bio Diesel" that you see advertised, there are crooks out there too. Also why are they delivering it in 100 litre quantities? and what will your house and building insurance company think about storing so much fuel even short term?
