EPB Warning "Parking Brake Fault"
Grand Scenic 1.6 Petrol 2007
Yellow lever in boot pulled, New Caliper & Pads fitted. All Bled.
Brakes all working fine, Handbrake all fine on/off Solid hold, extra oomph of brake all fine.
Sound's all good from Black box underneath when Operating Handbrake.
Tried all method's on forum for getting rid of "check Parking Brake" Warning from Dash to no Avail.
Tried Vgate v1.5 Mini ELM327 OBD2 Bluetooth with various Android programs with mixed result's,
Some would connect, some said all clear, no faults and when you activated the Clear codes, came back with "Codes All Cleared" but of course this must be referring to engine as no effect on the Parking Brake Dash Alert.
Have been assured the Autel EBS301 Electronic Brake Service Tool will clear this warning.
Has anyone used this tool or maybe a cheaper similar one to this effect of clearing the Parking brake fault after all is fixed to the brakes with an successful outcome.
Any help and info appreciated.
