Going on long trip - advice?

We're taking our 10 year old Scenic I (phase 2) to France in two weeks.

We will be covering about 2k miles in 13 days. Glasgow - Dover - Normandy - Biarritz - Picardy - Paris (suburbs) - Dunkerque - Dover - Glasgow.

Could anyone offer any advice on particular items to check before setting off.

Car drives great other than an irritating erratic idle which I will need to resolve,

I have already done the following:

Changed timing belt, alternator belt and water pump.
Coolant renewed.
Renewed front brake pads.

New cat last year.
Serviced car myself, oil +filter, new air filter, new plugs.

Renewed boot button and boot seals.

2 new tyres including spare.

Thanks in advance.
