A fairly straightforward way to corroborate the month/year of manufacture is to check the date stamp on the inside of a few trim panels that you can be sure are original.

Manufacturers operate on a stock system called Just in time, whereby only a few weeks (or even just a few day's worth of components are held in stock on the assembly lines.

It might be an idea just to look at some parts (parcel shelf, boot carpet, etc) just to see if they match up.
